Camping at the Beach!

So, we went camping this weekend at Cape Lookout State Beach. We had a blast! Cameron was in heaven. He could run around to his heart's content and even when he needed to go "inside", he was in a giant fort! 

So sweet! Playing with daddy on the beach.

This tent is amazing! Even has a hinged door...which Panda kept playing with.

He was cool with daddy making him sand castles, and was totally ok knocking them over, but if you thought to have him touch that icky sand with his hands or feet, you were crazy.

It's way more fun if mama and daddy are with you.

Any time I see this happen (irl or in pics) I get the Lion King theme song stuck in my head.

Summer Time!

So, we got Cameron a kiddie pool...and he spent 95% of the time dipping a cup of water into it and drinking the pool water. Seriously. For like...40 minutes. (and it's not like I don't give him water in the house! I think it's just that he can do it all by himself, I guess...)

I finally figured out how to get him to eat! 

give him a spoon and a couple of bowls and some of it is bound to end up in his mouth...

He's gunna hate me for this one, but I couldn't resist. He was escaping  from me before we got in the shower.

Hide yo' kids, hide yo' wife... he knows how to open doors...if only that pesky doorknob wasn't so high...

I sat him on his chair and he sang for me

Then he ate his chair.
