He's a star!

So, we're all aware that I suck at blogging. But I DO keep taking pictures, so I'm going to post a bunch of pictures here in order to try to make up for my horrible blogging habits.

Cameron loves Portland. He gets to run around in the grass, play in the park, see all of the doggies (seriously, I swear everyone here has a dog), and he has a giant house to play in.

What's even more awesome (to me, at least), is that every day -quite literally- he learns something new that blows my mind. Whether it's saying "mmm! nice!" when he really likes something or signing "more" in sign language to let me know he wants more food, this kid astounds me with his smartness.

Today he woke up from his nap with a perfect, "Mommy?". This is a big deal. Panda is no mommy's boy (as hard as I might try to make him one...), he is his daddy's little man all the way. He so rarely says "mama" that his other mommy and I have taken to making it into a game trying to get him to say "mama" instead of "daddy". We will walk in a room and he'll immediately say "DADDY!" then sometimes go so far as to look disappointed that we're not, in fact, his daddy.

Aaaanyway, onto the pictures!

He's already practicing his hoops...Well, he throws the basketball in the garbage can, but at 13 months, that's pretty impressive.

Mommy said it was too cold for cute little basketball outfit, so daddy put his sweatshirt on me. AND I ATE IT.

His favorite book. I can pretty much get him to be still for aaaalmost as long as it takes to change his diaper if I sing the ABC's to him
